Wax melt making with ease!
Our wax melt making kit will include everything you need to get started; from the wax to the moulds, it has it all!
All you will need at home is:
- PPE
- Stove
- Scales
- Jug x2
- Large spoon
- Kitchen Roll
- Double Boiler (not essential - metal/glass bowl + saucepan is fine)
Step 1: Melt Your Wax
Measure out 162g of wax, then place your glass or metal bowl over a pan of boiling water, or set up your boiler. Heat the wax steadily at a medium heat, stirring regularly.
Step 2: Prepare Your Moulds
Give your moulds a quick wipe, if needed, with a clean piece of kitchen roll to remove any dust.
Find a flat, level surface and place your moulds ready for pouring.
Step 3: Add Your Fragrance
Once your melted wax is at 71°C add 18g of your chosen fragrance oil for a 10% load.
Ensure to MIX THOROUGHLY!!!
Step 4: Pour and Repeat!
Step 5: De-Mould!
Once your wax melts have set in the moulds, they are ready! Simply turn your mould over and push from the back to release and there you go!
